J. C. WILLIAMSON'S CO.

On Tuesday, June 12th, at the Town Hall, Mr 3. 0. Williamson's Comic Opera Company will make their re-appeara oe in Maaterton. One of the most successful of-Messrs Gilbert and Sullivan's comic operas, viz., "The Gondoliers," will be staged. "The Gondoliers" is a charcsfng romantio opera, and has been prodnced in all parts of the world. Mr Williamson's oorapany is said to be the most powerful that has ever appeared in legitimate comic opera, numbering over seventy artists, included amongst whom are the following:—Mr Ohas. Kenningham, the favourite tenor; Mr Howard Vernon, wbo has been associated with the works of Gilbort and Sullivan sinoe they were first produoed iu Australia ; Mr Frank Wilson, leading baritone from the Savoy Theatre, London; Mr Arhur Crane, the yonng and popular baritone; Mr H. H. Wallaoo. comedian; Mr Ernest Fitts, basso: and Mr Walter Wbyte, tenor; Miss Dolly Castles, Miss Celia Gbiloni, Miss Olive Godwin, Miss Aggie Thorn, Miss Vinia de Loitte, and Miss Blanche Farey. The chorus is said to be composed of the finest voices to be found in Australasia. The box plan is now open at Mr Boilings'.
