HOCKEY.
+ RAUPO v. FEATHERSTON. A team representing the Raupo Club visited Featherston yesterday, and played the Featherston Ladies' Club. The game was a particularly interesting one, and was witnessed by a large number of speotators. Some good play was shown on both siaes. The Raupos, who were not fully represented, had the best of the first spell. The > game resulted in a draw, each Hide scoring one goal. The scoring was done in the second half. Miss Heyhoe scored for Raupos, and Miss Barr for Featherston. Misses V. Carpenter and Heyhoe played particularly well for Rauco, and good work forFeatherston was done for Misses A. Cundy and Barr. Mr L. Keys was referee. The visitors were moat hospitably entertained by the Featherston Club. Lunch and afternoon tea was provided iu the Town Hall, while tea was supplied to the visitors before they returned to Maaterton. The Raupo team speak in the highest terms of praise of the treatment received. WELLINGTON v HUIA. A match was played at Lanadowne, yesterday, between the Huia and Wellington Ladies' ulub.' The teams were very evenly matched, and the game resulted in a win for Wellington by one goal to nil. The winners' goal was bit by Miss Fisher. Mr Wright, of Wellington, was referee.
