SUPREME COURT.
WELLINGTON, May 27. At the Supreme Court yesterday Hopi Tanara, who bad pleaded guilty to theft at Hastings, was sentenced by the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) to six months' imprisonment. John McOusker, for stealing from a dwelling at Napier, was Eentenoed to twelve months' impriaonrnent. Jas. Kennedy, alias Georgfe Oleary, for three offenoes of false pretences, , and one of forgery, received a sentence of two years' imprisonment.
