IMPERIAL TROOPS WARNED TO BE READY TO TAKE THE FIELD. SPIES SWARM AT PRETORIA. BAMBAATA'S AGENTS USING THEIR INFLUENCE. Received May 26, 12,19 a.m. LONDON, May 25. Renter's Pretoria Correspondent reports that the situation in Natal is very serious. The local Imperial troops have been warned to bold themselves in readiness to take the field. Zulu spies are swarming at Pretoria. Parleyings for Siganandi's surrender have proved fruitless, owing the infiuenoe of Bambaata's agents. Colonel Mackenzie resumes vigorous operations against Siganandi's stronghold at Mome. Bambaata, on May; 19th, retreated aoross the Mkala Mountain to an unknown destination. , Four of his companions remain at Mome.
