NEW PLYMOUTH, May 24. Tenders were opened for 350 prefereuoe shares in the Petroleum Company. The applications totalled 676. The highest price tendered was £lO 12s 6d, the average being übout £9. The bore atill looks well. WELLINGTON DIVORCE COURT. WELLINGTON, May 24. In the Divorce 'Court, to-day, decree nisi was granted iu the oases Charles Wood v. Enie Jeresou Wood aud Frank Barley, and Wil'iam John Mannering v. Martha Mannering and W. J. Newman.
