(From Our Own Correspondent). Monday. The annual picnic m connection with the Te Whiti School was held ou Friday. Ihe prizes won by the School children were presented as follows:—Standard Vll. ; —Frederick Ohesham. Standard Vl.—Harriet Chesham, Bessie Turner and Alfred McKenzie. Standard V.--Bertram Rayner. Standard lll.—Jane Snell, William Snell and Clarence Cheaham. Standard IL—lSva James, Edwin, James, Frank Snell. Maggiw Keui and Ruby Cheaba-j). Infanta —George James, Aunie and Jack ISnell. Sil?er medals for attendance Ruby Ohesham, Eva James, Edwin James, Clarence Chesham and Harriet Chesham. The members of thn School presented * gold brooch to Miss Manning, teacher at the Te Whiti School. - Sports were held during the afternoon with the following results:— Girls' Race—Eva James 1, Bessy Turner 2.
