DUNEDIN, May 22. At the Supreme Court David Inglia was "Charged with stealing from a store and was acquitted. Marton Paget end James MoGeorge were charged with breaking and entering, and with stealing whisky, wine and bitters. They were found guilty of reoeiving, but sentence was deferred, pending the decision of the Court of Appeal on the question of whether there was sufficient evidence to go to a jury that the goods found in the men's huts were part of the stolen property. Bail was allowed. At the inquest on Elizabeth Roy, who died after being knocked down by a tram car, the jury returned a verdict of accidental death, and added a rider recommending the erection of electric light instead of a gas lamp in the locality.
