THE NATIVE DISTURBANCE. TWELVE REBELS KILLED. Reoeived May 21, 9.20 a.m. PIETERMaRITZBURG, May 20. The Ukadhla and Fort rolland columns have junctioned at Cetewayos grave. Twelve of Bambaata's xebels were kilied in a rearguard action. A SHARP ACTION. TWO CHIEFS ANXIOUS TO SURRENDER. A STARTLING STATEMENT. Received May 21, 10.18 p.m. PIETERMARITZBURG. May 21. Colonels Mackenzie, Mansell and Barker have joined forces at Cetewayo's grave. Colonel Barker's column fought a sharp action at Mhala Hill, inflicting numerous casualties and capturing eight hundred cattle and many goats. Special precautions have been taken to avoid desecrating Cetewayo's crave. One of Siganandi's indunas has been Bent to state that Siganandi and Ndabamazie are anxious to surrender. Practically all Siganandi's country has been captured, and herds and women taken, though most of ,the men have escaped to tbe bush. A Christian native, after travelling through Zululand, has informed the Government that the natives in several parts mean to rise simultaneously when the crops are reaped.
