PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT.
INTENDS TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND. Reoeived May 18, 8.30 a.m. NEW YORK, May 17. President Roosevelt has assured Mt W. J. Napier, of Auckland, who is visiting the United States, that he would visit New Zealand at the end of the Presidential term. Mr Roosevelt said he was interested in the physical beauties of the tjoSony.; also the humane treatment of the Maoris and the experiments in ' social and democratic legislation.
