CRICKET.
NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL. By Telegraph—Press ORRISTCHURGH, May 16. At a meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council last night, the Tasmanian Criiket Association wrote asking the terms for a visit of a Tasmanian team in 1906 7, the matohes to be confined to the South * Island. The Wellington association suggested that the Council cbuld not approve of any tour leaving Auckland out. The matter was referred to the committee which is negotiating for the visit of an English team.
