Mr Walter Miller, of the Agricultural Department has been ordered into the Nayier Hospital, a wound that be received in bia leg during the Boer War having failed to heal. It is understood that the Queen's Cadets, Christohurnh, are about to disband, in consequence of difficulties experienaed in securing officers and in maintaining the corps on the capitation allowed. Since its formation on the occasion of Queen Victoria's jubilee in 3887, the corps has drafted some 1100 members into the adult corps of Obristchurob. In the oourse of its history the corps has had many notable puooessea in military competitions, and has maintained so high a standard of efficiency that its dissolution is a matter for great regret.
