EKETAHUNA.
(From Our Own-Correspondent). Tuesday. The installation of Bro. Walter Dempsey, Senior Warden of Lodge Eketahuua No. 92. took place on Monday evening, Bro. Robert Fletchar, District Grand Superintendent, officiating as installing master. Bro. Moncrieff acted as GrandjjDireotor of Ceremonies. The Senior Warden's chair was filled by Bro. C. Albertbsen, and the Junior Warden's chair by Bro. Neilson. The workiug tools were presented in the various degrees by Bro. J. Levieo, Bro. Neilson, and Bro. Sweeney, the charge to the wardens and brethren hein'g delivered by Bro. G. Hyde and Bro. J. Moncrieff, juu., respectively. Bro. invested the following officers for the ensuing twelve months:—-Senior Warden. 'Bro. V. J. Hill; Juaio'r Warden, Bro. W. M. Wilson; Treasurer,, Bro. C. Alberthson; Secretary, Brb. J. S. Tripe; Senior Deacon, Bro. i?. Kean; Junior Deacon, Bro. G. H. Leslie. A -large number of 1 Masons from various parts of the province were present. After the ceremony a, banquet was held in the Town Hall, when the usual loyal toasts ~were honoured. At the recent meeting of the Chamber of Ocmmeioe the Secretary was instructed to write to the Postmaster-General with regard to the advisability of running a daily mail service between here and Rongomai. , We are experienoing ( a splendid run of fine weather, which we hope will continue.
