FOOTBALL.
MASTEKTON OLUU. The Committee of tbe Masterton Football Club met last night. Messrs Jj. Williams and J. O'Leary were elected to fill positions on tbe Committee rendered vacant by tbe removal of Mr B. Chapman from Masterton, and.tbe election of Mr D. K. Logan to tbe captaincy of tbe Club. Tbe Secretary was instructed to write to Mr Chapman regretting his departure from Masterton. Tbe sub-Committee set up to receive ballot papers in connection with allotting the Henderson and Goubrane medals reported that the trophies bad been won by R. EI. Spackman and J. O'Leary. It was decided to arrange a special G7mnasium practice tor Thursday night, 'with a view to selecting both teams for Saturday's championship matches. Two accounts were passed for payment. The following new members were elected:—V. O'Neill,' P. Walsh, J. Hanley, W. Harding, MoHattie and L. A. Merchant. MASTERTON v. UARTERTON. Tbe following team will represent Masterton against Carterton on Saturday at Carterton: Walsh, Juggins, J. O'Leary, Hatch, P O'Leary, D. Logan, Gray, Duggan, Maokellar, Jenkins, Green bank, Lyall, Osborne, King, Marsh. Emergencies— Baob, Nicol; forward, Daniell. RED STaR v. GREYTOWN. The team to represent the Bed Stars against Greytowu, on Saturday, will be pioked to-night from the following:—Walker, MoLaoblan iWrigley, Welch, Darviile, O'Oonnell, Rose, Templeton, Clark (2), MoKenzie, Hunt, 6, Ohamherlain> Soorrar, Fulton, 'Higgins and H. Reihana.
