Two farmers in the Forbes district, New South Wales, have preferred to go to gaol rather than pay floes and costs for failure to continuously destroy rabbits. They stated that tbey had spent time and money as far an their means would allow in endeavouring to uope with the pest without; success, and continual prosecutions and payments of fines would simply mean that they would have to abandon their holdings.
