MR SEDDON'S REIGN.

Thw Sydney Morning Herald, referring to Mr Seddon's reign, says: -It is an event of importance and interest outside of New Zealand and a remarkable record in Australasian political life. On many grounds, Mr Seddon's must be regarded as a remarkable career. He certainly has not been idle.
Commenting on his definition of himself as a Humanist, the Herald adds:—"Though it may not be very convincing to those who make politics a serious study, it is at any rate quite characteristic of the man."
WESTRALIAN POLITICS.

Mr H. C. Rason, who took office as Premier of Western Australia in August, 1905, has resigned, and Mr Frank Wilson, Minister of Works, has undertaken the task of forming a Ministry. The latter is pledged to carry out Mr Rason's policy.
