# MASTERTON WOOL, SKIN, AND HIDE SALE. Levin aud Co., Ltd., report as follows on their Masteiton wool, skin and hide sale: We offered on Wednesday, 40 bales wool, 2.500 shoepakins, 110 hides, and a quantity of tallow and horsehair. There wa9 a good attendance of buyers, and bidding for wool and skins was very keen and high prices were obtained, but the selection of bides offered was a poor and badly-saved lot. Some crutchings were catalogued, which realised up to 7J£d per lb„ We quote—Wool: Medium crossbred fleeoe 9>£d to clotted and inferior B><£d"to 9,V£d, lambs wool 9d to lOd, crutchings 6d to pieces and beliies 7d to 7%d, locks 4d to Skins: .Advanced on last sale prices, good croßsbreds 9d to dead skins 7d shorn woofs 9d to 9>gd, lamb skins 9d to 9%d, pelts, bare, 2s 5d each, woolly skins, green, 6s Id. Hides; Medium ox 20s to 235, interior ox 16s to 19s, mediam -cow 17s to 225, inferior 10s to 17e, calf skins 2s to 6s. Tallow: In tins 17s 3d cwt, casks 18s per cwt. Horsehair, Is 9d per lb. Cow tails B}4d. The next sale is fixed for June 6~th, 1906.
