GERMANY AND CANADA.
Received April 25, 11.30 a.m. OTTAWA, April 24. Mr Fielding, the Canadian Minister of Finance, declared that tbe surtax on German imports was a proper act, and that Gorman trade suffered more than the Canadian trade.
