AUSTRALIAN NEWS.
RAILWAY ACCIDENT. Received, April 23, 10.15 a.m. PURTH, April 23. A train was partially derailed at Kalgoorlie: A fireman named Newby was pinned against the boiler, and as it was impossible to extricate him he was slowly roasted to death. The unfortunate man made piteous appeals to be put out of his misery. The driver, Sentor, had his leg broken, and a man named Lind had his collarbone fractured.
