.NATIVE DISTURBANCE. \ SUGGESTED IMPOSITION OP A FINK Received April 19, 8.41 a.m. PIETERMARITZBURG, April 18. Mr Saunders, the Chief Magistrate and Civil Commissioner of Zululand, recommeuda the imposition of a fine on Signandi of one thousand cattle, and its collection in the preseme of a white force. Such a comsa would, in the opinion of the magistrate, be in the nature of au ultimatum to the disaffected chiefs.
Three hundred light, infantry and a section of the artillery at Durban are mobilising.
