All-ased Stakes. Gladsome 1, Lady Wallace 2, Marvel Loch 3. Gladsome was first to move. Lady Wallace shot out, and looked like a winner, but Gladsome by a great effort caught Lady Wallace, winning by half a length. Marvel Loch was four lengths away. Time, lmiu 41sec. Coocee Handicap. Luoiana 1, Gracetown 1, Birdia 3. There were 19 starters. Won by six lengths. Time, lmin 553^sec. Easter Stakes—Collarit 1, Antonious 2, Castaway 3 BettingEven money Collarit, 5 to 1 Antonious. The favourite leadfall the way, and won by six lengths. Time, lmin 29aeo. Cumberland Stakes Tartan 1, Proceeder 2, Cakewalk 3. Only starters. Betting—7 to 4on Tartan, 7 to 1 on Proceeder, 20 to 1 Cakewalk. Proceeder went to the front, followed by Tartan, lu the straight Tartan headed Prooeedor, and wou by half a length. Time, 3min 46J486C. City Handicap—Proceed 1, Maniapoto 2, Zenda 3. Betting—2 to 1 Noreen, 5 to 1 Proceed, and Lord Fitzroy, 6 to 1 Zenda, and Maniapoto. Ihe latter lead along the back stretch, but Proceed got on terms at the distance. Won by a length. Time, 2min 35seo.
