MAYORAL ELECTIONS.
MASTERTON.
Mr J. A. Renall was the only nomination received for the position of Mayor of Masterton, and he has been declared duly elected by the Returning Officer (Mr K. Brown). . The nomination paper was signed by Crs J. 0. Ewington, E. G. Eton, J. H. Pauling, T. G. Hoar, F. W. Temple, fc. MoEwen, and J. Elliott.

Lower, Hutt—T. W. MoDonald. Palmerston North—M. Cohen. Woodville—H. Burnett. lnvercargill—W. B. Seandrett. Inalewood—W. Peroival. Christohurch—Sir John Hall. Hawera—Or Hirst. Gore—Cr J. Gait. Oamoru—Robt Milligan. PalmerstoU South—A. Clark. Tlmaru—J. Craigie. Blenheim—E. 11. Penny. Pioton—Dr Redman. Messrs Myers (present Mayor) and Bradley will contest the Auckland election; Messrs Pattersoo (present Mayor) and ReeH (ex- Mayor) will contest the Danuevlrke election; and Messra G. LQudon (present Mayor) and H. Pindlay will contest the Petono elootion.
