BAMBAATA STILL HIDING. ZULU CHIEFS REFUSE TO ASSIST TROOPS. SITUATION LESS SATISFACTORY. Received April 18, 10 42 p.m. PIETERMARITZBURG, April 18. Bambaata is still hiding in the forest at Ukandhla. Owing to the Zulu chiefs, Signandi and Undubi, ' t refusing to co-oper-ate in Bambaata's capture, the Government states that the. situation is less satisfactory. They are mobilising further militia. Colonel Mansel baa moved his force to Ukandhla. The Zulu chief Dinizulu has warned the chief, Signaudi that be will be responsible for Bambaata's capture since he allowed him to enter the forests.
SIGNANDI'S TRIBE JOINS BAMBAATA.
A REQUEST FOR TROOPS.
Received April 19, 12.7 p.m. PIETERMARITZBURG, April 18. The Natal Government asks for volunteers for a speoial corps for active service in Zululand unaer Colonel Royston. It U reported at Eshowo that SignaDdi's "tribe has joined Bambaata. .
The military authorities have requested the Government to send troops to Zululand.
