A BROTHER'S REVHNGE.

A recent cable message stated that Senor Palmaoeras, Secretary to the Chilian in Brussels, had been murdered. From particulars now to hand it aDpears that Senor Falmaoeraft was killed iu the diningroom of a boarding-hou9e recently by the sou of the Chilian ConsulGeneral, M. Waddington. Reuter . says that M. Waddington fired five revolver shots at Senor Palniaceras, all of which struck him in the head. The victim, who was only 25 years of age, survived his terrible wounds only a few minutes. The diningroom of the boarding huuse was the scene of the tragedy. Senor Palmaoeras was about to marry the daughter of M. Waddington, the Consul-General, and the sister of his assailant, and a family dinner in celebration of the engagement was to have taken place at six o'clock on Saturday evening. Young Carlos de Waddington, who is only seventeen, and baa been stuuying in Ghent, came borne a few moments after this scene, and rushed after Palmaoeras.
