Tbe Canterbury Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting concluded to-day at Ricuarton Id fine weather although towards the close of tbe afternoon a cold wind sprang up. Tbe attendance was smaller than yesterday, ,aud the investments were, naturally, not so large, the total being £9,839. There were 84 investors on the winning double. Cross Battery and boomerang, which paid a dividend of £l6 8s 6d. Of the afternoon's racing the most interesting contest was that between Achilles and Porcelain, tbe North Island crack winning by a bead. Results:— Peerswick Hurdles, 1% mileGraduated Tax 1.
