A Melbourne team, largely composed of the cricketers that visited New Zealand drew matches against Southern and Northern Tasmania. The scores in the Melbourne-South Tasmania match, were:—Melbourne, first innings, Ilia: second innings, seven wickets for IGS. Southern Tasmania, first itnn«g, 202; second innings, one wicket;for -13. Against Noith Tasmania, Melbourne, in the first innings, lost six wiokets for 302 (innings declared closed); while Northern Tasmania made 110, and in the seoond innings lost Jour wickets for 120.
