Commenting on a recent performance, a contemporary says:—The soloists, Messrs H. Edwards, G. Tudnhopo. M. Peterson and Norman Stevens, were all in good voice, and their selections were in every instance capital? rendered. The ecmiii element; found able exponeuta in Messrs 11, Andraiye, H. Tankard and P. A rimer, who provoked hearty laughter with their items, tho loctl illusions, of course, being enthusiastically received. In the Eaoond part, the iiuSo solos of Mr L. Hay and tho i'em.-da iinperaouation of Mr M. Peterson may bo specially mentioned. Mr Pete/son's song, "Tho New Skirt," lairly brought down the houso. The comio duet." "Why, of course," by the Andrews brothers, was another first-class item, and Mr Harry Tankard was whimsical and amusing as ever hi his stump speech. Mr 0. Kirk and Mr H. Browuette were both encored for capital songs. The performance was brought to a close with an amusing farce.
