FRIVOLITY MINSTRELS.
The Frivolity Minstrels will give one of their entertainments in the Town Hall, Masterton, on Easter Monday. Commenting on a recent performance given, a contemporary says:—The orohestra which accompanies the troupe, has always been noted for the quality of its music, and last ni«ht, under the oonduotorship of Mr J. A. Stevens, tbey adder! still further to their laurels. The corner men, Messrs Amner, Cook and Tankard (bones), and H. Andrews, Peterson and Davidson (tambos), were, as usual, extremely mirth provoking, and , they kept the audience in a succession of smiles. The soloists rendered their items in a capital fashion. Messrs O, Oook, H. Tankard, H. Andrews and P. Amner supplied the comic element in an able manner. Special mention should be made of Mr M. Peterson, the female impersonator, whose songs fairly brought down the house. The other items on the programme were, also, first-class.
