Lord Curzon of Kedleston, exViceroy of India, speaking at tbe Pilgrims' Club dinner in London, said that if Natal were lost, we were on the way to lose the Empire. Lord Milner, the speaker declared, had administered South Africa in the interests of the people. A long succession of Viceroys bad administered India in the same spirit, and be hoped it would always be governed in tbe same spirit.
