MANAWATU RAGES. By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON N., April 5. The Manawatu Racing Club's Autumn Meeting was to day in unfavourable weather. The attendance was again small. The amount put through the totalisator was £9,336 making £18,618 for the meeting, being a deorease of £1,889 on last year's record. Results:— Borough Handicap—Sir Tristram 1, Gawain 2, Flotilla ?.
