FRANCE.
THE MINTNG DISASTER AT CPURRIERES. Reoeived April 4, 10,41 p.m. PARIS. April 4. In the French Chamber of Deputies, M. Basly, Leader of the Miners' Union, alleged that the Courrieres disaster was due to rapacity and negligence on the part of the company. M. Eartbun promised to forfeit the company's rights if the inquiry showed that they were responsible for the disaster.
