CRICKET.

The Carlton C team and the Star C team will play a match, on the Park Oval, on Thursday. The fiuali match for the Masterton . Cricket Association's championship, between the Carlton A and W.F.C.A., will bo concluded on Thursday. The following team will repreaent the Carlton C in their match againfst the Star C, on the Park Oval, on Thursday:—K. Welob, J. Dignan, W. Harding, Ellison, Symes, Keightley, W. Bannister, A. Hoar, Sant. W. Flaws and T. Flaws.

ST. PATKICKS' COLLEGE v. WELLINGTON COLLEGE.

Tbe annual orioket match between the above colleges was concluded on the Wellington College ground last Saturday. St. Patrick's College batted first and compiled 54, of which Miller contributed 20 and Ratimn 14. -Dixon bowled well for Wellington College, capturing eight wickets for 21. Wellington College replied with 72 (Collins 37, Payne 20 not out). Tbe SS. Patrick's boys in their second innings made 133, tbe chief scorers being Miller 24 and McKenna 60. Wellington College in their second attempt were all out for 49 (Otterson 21, Izard 15). Miller took eight of their wickets for 30. St. Patrick's College ihus won the match by 66 runs.

The tenth annual representative sohool match between Wellington and Wairarapa was played at Greytown, on Saturday, and although the scoring was small, Wairarapa won rather easily by 33 runs. Wairarapa has won only onco before, and that was in 1898, when they defeated Wellington on the Basin Reserve by one run. The fielding of the country boys was good, and in Rhodes they possess a fine mediumpaced bowler. Finlayaon was the only member of the Wellington team to show firm with th« bat. Wairarapa in their first innings made 18, and 47 in the second innings, Rhodes (23) and Fairbrotber (13) reaching double figures. Wellington scored 16 runß in tbeir first venture, and 16 in the second.
