Owing to a mistake on the part of the totalisator people, evidently done by reckoning ten shilling tickets as full tickets, they made a serious loss iu the first event at the meeting to-day, paying out £4 8s in the Stewards' Handicap instead of £3. The loss was nod discovered until over £IOO had been overpaid.
