STEPHENSON'S COMEDY COMPANY.
The box plan for the forthcoming visit of this ever-popular combination will be opened, tomorrow morning, at Miss Rive's. The piece chosen for representation here is the latest English laughing success, "Bill Adams." The piece may be described as a whimsical musical extravaganza, and its full title is "Bill Adams, the 'Ero of Waterloo." Mr Lauri will take the name part, while Mr MoNaughton will introduce one of his clever sketohes, "Major Brussels Sprouts." The Bovis Brothers will display their adaptability by introducing their boxing act; Miss Beatty will be seen in an impersonation of "Margot," in which character she has several tuneful numbers to sing, whilst Miss Garetang, Miss Roland WattsPhillips, and the other principals wiJl be seen in entirely new roles. As the pi«oe lends itself to magni ficence of dress and military spectacle, the management promise that everything that money can procure will be utilised to make the piece a success. A feature of the production will be several novel ballets introduced by the famous octette of dancers known throughout the oolonies as "The Rose Ballerine."
