OAMARU RAM AND EWE FAIR.
OAMARU, March 28. The Ram and Ewe Pair was held to-day. There were big entries, and the best lot of sheep seen here for many years. They were nearly all Border Leicesters. There is a good demand for this class of sheep. Flock rams sold ap to the average figure being English Leicesters were neglected, and passed in For Oamaru the prices were very good. Stud rams sold up to 17^gus.
