RIOTOUS STUDENTS.
CHARGED BY THE CAVALRY,
WOMEN AND CHILDREN INJURED.

Riotous conduct by students at Budapest, who objected to a performance being given in French instead of Roumanian, at the National Theatre, caused the intervention of the troops. The cavalry charged the crowd in the streets. Two hunderd and fifty students, women and children were injured. One hundred and fifty soldiers and police, including six officers, were injured. There were several fatalities.
