In corroboration of the views about a gradual weakening of the constitutions of cattle through feeding on skim milk, it may be mentioned, says the Taranaki Herald, that of 76 oalves slaughtered last week at the New Plymouth abattoir 21 were found to be diseased, and Seven were totally condemned.
