A PASHA ASSASSINATED. Received Maroh 27, 12.37 a.m. CONSTANTNOPLE. Maroh 26. Redvan Pasha, Prefect at Constantinople, has been assassinated. The deed is ascribed to private revenge. Redvan Pasha is accused of levying backsheesh from bakers, allowing the latter to sell undersized loaves.
