Official reports of those killed and wounded in the disorders in Russia during 1905 have been published. The figures are as follow:Killed 14,130 Wounded 19,524 The Russian newspapers assume that the Government has minimised the figures. THE DUMA ELECTIONS. Received March 26, 9.20 a.m. LONDON, March 25. Reuter's St. Petersburg correspondent states that the Duma elections are in full swing. Order prevails everywhere. ROMAN CATHOLICISM AND THE IMPERIAL DECREE. Received March 26, 8.53 p.m. LONDON, March 26. j The Roman Catholic Bishop of Vilnahas handed to the Government a list of those re-joining or joining Catholicism on the strength of the Imperial decree of toleration. The list comprises twenty thousand names THE ESTIMATES RECALLED TO BE "OFFICALLY REDUCED." Received March 27. 12.37 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, March 26. The Russian estimates have been recalled for reduction. A GIRL STUDENT SUBJECTED TO AWFUL TORTURES. Received Maroh 27, 12.37 a.m. SI. PETERSBURG, Maroh 26. After awful tortures to compel her to oonfess, a girl student at Spiridorna has been sentunced to death for tbe assassination of the Vice. Uovernur of Tamboff.
