FLORAL FETE.
MEETING OP EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Executive Committee o-'the Floral Fete was held, last evening, Mr A. D. Morton, presiding. Apologies were received from Messrs A. W. Hogg, M.H.R., J. A. Renall and R. Brown. The secretaries presented a statement of receipts and expenditure to 'date, but as there are subscriptions yet to come in and g&ods to dispose of, a complete balance-sheet oouli not be presented. The statement of accounts so far shows a credit balance of £237. When all the amounts are collected it is expected that neary £250 will be realised. A vote of thanks was passed to those members of the various committees who worked in connection with the Fete. In this connection the work done by the Masterton plumbers in lighting the Park Oval was very favourably commented upon. A vote of thanks was, also, passed to Mr D. Dobson, Borough Engineer, for assistance rendered by him. Messrs R. Brown and W. H. Jackson were appointed to audit the accounts. ; The secretaries were instructed to call a general meeting before the end of the month, and submit the balanoe sheet to the meeting. A vote of thanKs to the ohair concluded the business.
