EARTHQUAKE.
EKETAHUNA, March 20. A somewhat violent shook of earthquake was felt at 3 o'oloob, this afternoon. The direction was north to south. The oscillation lasted fully half a minute. WAIPAWA, March 20. A very severe earthquake, lastint? 20 seconds, was experienced at 3 p.m. WANGANUI, Maroh 20. A heavy shook of earthquake was experienced here, at 3 o'clock, thia afternoon. NEW PLYMOUTH, Maroh 20. A violent shook of earthquake was felt, at 2.58 o'clock, this afternoon, the shake lasting about a minute. GKEYMOUTH, Maroh 20. A slight shook of earthquake was felt, at 3.30 o'clock, this afternoon. A sharp shock of earthquake was experienced in Carterton, at a.30, on Monday night, reports the Leader, preoeded by a slight rumble. The direction appeared to be from north to south.
