ST. PATRICK'S DAY ASSOCIATION.

MEETING OP MEMBERS,

A meeting of members of the St Patrick's Day Sports Association was held on Saturday evening. Mr G. Watsou presided, and theie were over twenty members present. An offer from the Masterton Municipal Brass Band to play at the sports for £5 was accepted, Thp resignation of Mr H. Bannister was accepted with regret. Messrs C. Kingand J. Cullen were elected members of the Association. Officials for the day of the sports were eleoted as follows: Supervisor, Mr J. Creelman; Subsuperintendent and Referee, .Mr M. 0. O'Counell; Hon Surgeon, Dr Ross; Honorary Piper, Mr R. Smith; Smarter. Mr J. C. McKillop; Judges (cycling and running) Messrs H. O'Leary, J. G. Eliott, W. L. Falconer and J. H. Pauling, (jumping) Messrs J. Savage, J. A. Kenall and A. Haughey, (Irish jig) Messrs J. Savage, J. Gill and F. O'Toole: (scotch dancing, music and hornpip\et • Messrs Alexander Turner, Alexander McLeod, James Maoßae and A. Turner, (quoits) J. Gallagher. E. E. Chamberlain and J. Mcllattie; Stewards (running), Messrs B. Chapman, J. O'Leary, J. Keliiher, D. Robinsou, and G. Donovan; (cycling), Messrs T. Dwyer. F. Haughey, J. Lyttle, B. J. Dolan, A. Haughey and T. W. Wardell, (dancing) Messrs J. O'Dowd, J. Gill, and E. O'Sullivau, (quoits), Messrs C. Tootel, T. Wyeth, and G. R. Sykes; Number Stewaid, Mr W. Hogg: Blackboard Stewards, Messrs J. Emmett and C. King; Clerk of Course, Mr E. O'Sullivan; Timekeepers Messrs J. Cress, E. G. Williams, F. Renall, F. Dunre and M. Kerins. Messrs G. Watson M. 0. O'Connell and the Secretary were appointed a committee to deal with tho sale of privileges, also to arrange for providing refreshments for the officials.
