DANNEVIRKE ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for the first day's events, and entries for the Trial Hack and Maiden Sourry, olose with the Secretary, Mr Jas. Spiers Freeman, Dannevirke, at 9 p.m., to-morrow (Thursday). This CJub is to be congratulated on the large number of entries received for the handicap events, and it is fully anticipated that the entries for the Trial Hack and Maiden Hack Sourry will-be the best that the Cub has yet received, and prove a record for this class of races. The course is in excellent condition, and the appointments on the course have lately received attention; and will be found iuptdaate' in every-respect. Given fine weather the meeting, which oommences on Wednesday next, should prove satisfactory to the Club and its patrons.
