THE WELLINGTON RAILWAY ACCIDENT.

THE INQUEST.

WELLINGTON, February 26.

An inquest was held, to-day, concerning the death of Emma French, whose dead body was found on the cattle stops of the railway line near the Thorndon end of the city, on Saturday. The coroner remarked that the most reasonable thing to suppose was that deceased had fallen off the platform of the carriage.
