The Churoh Association has petitioned King Edward to refuse his assent to the marriage of his niece, Princess Ena of Battenberg, to King Alfonso of Snam.

(The Chuich Association was formed in 1865, having for its object the maintaining of the doctrines and jrinoiples of the Reformation, and, also, the preserving of thi purity of protestant worship in the Church of England).
