THE CADET MOVEMENT.
AUCKLAND. February 20." The Governor presented the North Island Cadet Shield to the Onebunga School Cadets at a parade of over one thousand cadets this morning. Lcrd Plunkott said he regarded the oadet movement aa one of great importance. He was pleased it was so regarded in this colony as laying the foundations of national character as well as national defence.
