MR VAL VOUSDEN.
+ . A POPULAR ENTERTAINER. . ■% There was a large audieuoe. at the Town Hall, laat evening, when Mr Val Vousden opened hid Master ton season. An excellent programme was presented, and the hearty applause that followed each item showed that cbe whole programme was appreoiated. Mr Val Vousden gave bis famous character sketch "Mrs O'Rourke," and a large number of. other impersonations, which were warmly applauded by the audience. Mr Vousden has an easy and graceful manner, whiob at once takes with his hearers, and Mb humourous sketches and stories are told in a manner that quickly establishes him as a favourite. The "Marvellous Meldons" fully upheld their reputation as marvellous child musicians. Every item given, by them was vociferously encored. A capital programme was brought to a conclusion by a number of excellent bioscope piotures, which were ex-, oeptionally "steady."
