Socialists in Poland pillaged five Government alcohol stores. Among tbe loot from one store was a sum of 5,000 roubles. Eight conspirators havo been arrested at Kieff for extorting money for revolutionary purposes by means of threatening letters signed ,by anarchists. While a railway truck from Vladivostok was unloading at the St, .Petersburg station, a case exploded, killing four persons- and setting fire to the truck, which contained 54 similar cases. The driver and brakeman prevented a disaster by shunting the truck to a siding, where it exploded harmlessly.
