CASES FOR THE ARBITRATION COURT. DUNEDIN, February 15. The clothing manufacturers, and the Tailoresses Union have filed with the Clerk of Awards a referenoe asking that the clothing manufacturers and the tailoresses of Auckland be made parties to the awards recently given, covering the industrial districts of Wellington, Canterbury, Otago and Southland, with the request that theapnlication pa heard at tho ensuing sittings of the Court in Auckland towards the end of Maroh. The Labour Department ofßoials here have concluded an inquiry iato the present friction in tho clothing trade, with to under rate pay, and have forwarded a report to the hand of the Department.
