AN UNQUALIFIED SUCCESS. Received February IC, 1.6 a.m. MELBOURNE, Kctiruary 15. The New Zealand loan proved an unqualified snocoss, largtay due to the amount of money available here for investment and the attraction of a higher rate of iuterewt. Tho tenders amounted to £531,300 from the public, of which about a quarter of a million came from Sydney. Tenders at £lOl 10s and over will be allotted in full, whilst those at £lOl 15s 6d will receive about 35 per cent, of the amount applied for. The Underwriters will not b& required to paiticipato in tho loan. T. Boueman and Company were the largest contributors to thesucoess of tho operation, having tendered for almost half the total sum subscribed.
