RESIGNATION Ob 1 A HARBOUR , BOARD OFFICIAL. NELSON, February 8. At the January meeting of the Hospital Board, on the presentation of the ordinary printing and advertising aniuuuf by Mesais Bond, Finney and Co., a point was raised whether tne Board could pay the amount wbile Mr W.' T. LJoud, a member of the Arm, was also a member of tbe Board. Mr Bond, thereupon, sent in his resignation, pointing out, however, thai, the law of exclusion referred to contrasts alone, and not to ordinary sales and the small casual amounts. Yesterday, tne Board asked Mr Boud to withdraw his resignation till legal advice was obtained on the point, which affects all the business men on the local bodies. Mr Bond will take no further part in the proceedings tili the legal opinion is obtained. ,
